  • Reviewed May 17, 2012 via mobile, My girlfriend and I love to get sushi wherever we go and despite being the only sushi restaurant in Cabarete these guys do everything right! Normally in the US we have to order 5-6 speciality rolls (for about $6-12/each) to have a full stomach. Here we did just that and had wayyyyy more than we could eat. Each roll had a minimum 8 pieces and some with 10 including the spicy volcano roll. Not only that but the rolls were PACKED with fresh fish not just little bits! Within 10 minutes of ordering they began to bring out our rolls and quickly we learned our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. The presentation is great (green caterpillar) but the spicy rolls were the best. Maybe it was because we came during the off season in May but these guys were great and even with 2 drinks and tip included our bill was under $60 US / $2,000 DR. Highly recommend as a place that any sushi lover will enjoy!

  • Reviewed July 22, 2012 The food is prepared perfectly and the restaurant is very clean. I'm not a sushi person but they have a lot of other options on the menu -- soup, tempura, noodles, fried rice, salads, etc. The prices are reasonable and you can sit in an air-conditioned little restaurant if you want to get out of the heat
